State Representative Ken Gordon, along with other state officials, made a visit to our school on Tues. morning and shared a presentation with our 4th and 5th grade classes. There were also many other local officials and community members at this historic event.
This was a public hearing to present rationale to the State House in support of naming May the Month of Kindness. We started with a lesson with Rep Gordon. A public hearing began after. Administrative Council, School Committee, Town Officials, Burlington Historical Society, and HELPSIS were all in the house to witness the event. The bill was passed and will hopefully become a law.
